Bruno has managed to turn his great passion into his way of life: he is a comic-book artist. Yet he is going through a deep creative block, unable to draw a single line. That is when Violeta appears, a young woman with whom he seems to share far more than they imagine. They barely exchange a few shy glances on a bus, but that brief encounter is enough to rekindle Bruno's inspiration and his desire to create.
Just as everything seems to be falling into place, fate bursts unexpectedly into his life. He may not get to be the hero of the story, but he can still save someone...
Shot in 2012, this short film was one of La Fábrica Naranja's first ventures into fiction, with Paloma Zapata directing and performances by Juan Ramón Bonet, Helena Miquel and Víctor Benjumea. The film combines live action and animated sequences that give shape to Bruno's inner world, culminating in an idea as simple as it is luminous: you don't need to be a hero to change someone else's life.
